Walk for Your Brain

Brain size shrinks in late adulthood, which can cause dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. According to a study published by the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, walking at least six miles per week may protect brain size and in turn, preserve memory in old age. Researchers found that those who walked the most cut their risk of developing memory problems in half.[1]

Walking is the best aerobic exercise which oxygenates your brain.  Take deep breaths while walking and feel the oxygen getting to your brain cells.
