Tylenol Causes Liver Failure

Acetaminophen (like Tylenol) is probably a common pain reliever in your medicine cabinet…but maybe it shouldn’t be. Acetaminophen is the leading cause of liver failure in the U.S. The Center for Disease Control reported that there are an average of 1600 liver failure cases each year, citing acetaminophen as the leading cause.*

There are all-natural alternatives to acetaminophen. You can drink some strong cups of elderflower tea to help break fevers, capsaicin cream (the active ingredient in chilies) can relieve external pain, and 400-600 mg of the herb curcumin can block internal pain while reducing inflammation.
