Practice Mindfulness and Meditation

Practicing mindfulness means that you pay attention to the present moment, pause, breathe deep and relax. It’s best if you can practice mindfulness a few times throughout your day. In one eight-week study, participants who practiced mindfulness reduced their use of medical services by 43 percent.*

Mindfulness is all about slowing down and taking in your surroundings. Start by focusing on your breath with deep inhales through your nose and slow exhales out of your mouth.
