Daydream Your Way to Health

Daydreamers have often been frowned upon. They get in trouble at school and are deemed lazy. However, new research is showing that healthy daydreaming is great for our mental state. It shows that our two opposing networks; executive, which includes decision making and planning, and default, which is when we are on auto-pilot, can work together when relaxed. The result is that our minds become more flexible and open to overcome obstacles and work out any mental tension. Daydreaming is a relaxed state where our minds become creative and possibly more productive in solving problems.[1]

Daydream effectively! When you find that quiet place, keep a pen and some paper handy and see what wonderful ideas come to you.
