Reduce Stress with a Warm Bath

1378When you come home after a stressful day, one of the easiest ways to decompress is to take a bath. Baths typically provide a quiet space for you to temporarily escape from everyday stressors, and warm bath water can help soothe tight and achy muscles. The next time you’re feeling stressed, simply turn off your phone, ask your family or roommates not to interrupt, and draw yourself a warm relaxing bath.*

Too cool of a bath can be over stimulating, and too hot of a bath can cause you to faint, so try to keep your bath temperatures between 100 to 107° F. Set an atmosphere of relaxation with lit candles, or by adding a few drops of lavender essential oil to your bath.
