Face-to-face communication allows people to work together better, brainstorm ideas and come up with more creative conclusions. Go on a digital detox and turn your smartphone off when you’re home at night. If that seems too tough, start small. Deactivate your ringer and phone alerts for at least an hour a day, perhaps during family dinner.
