HOW TO BE IN THE BEST SHAPE?
Tell us about your Walking Cure programs and how you became the Walking Doctor.
After I hurt my back, I began to suffer from many health problems. I became diabetic, suffered from insomnia, and had problems with my blood pressure. During my recovery process, I tried so many medications to help ease my pain, but I was still not better after six months. I had gone from a very active fifty-year old man to a very sick person. That is when I decided to make a change and incorporate walking into my daily activities.
I forced myself to walk, and within two weeks of just walking 5 miles a day, my back pain reduced 50%. I continued my walking regimen and continued eating healthy, and within just three months I had overcome all of my ailments.
My Walking Cure program is very unique. I teach 17 different types of walking and healthy living that help with various health conditions. After learning from my own experience, I set up this program around what I knew had worked to heal me, and became the Walking Doctor. The goal is to create a Walking Movement in this country by following my simple Walking Program. I want everyone to be proactive and find that walking can cure their problems the same way it cured mine.
I am happy to share with you a little information about the program and what I teach. We have an online Walking Cure app that serves as a guide for you, and will help you cultivate a walking habit through a 30-day challenge, as described below.
There are three levels of the Walking Program. You will begin with a 30-day Basic Walking Challenge, which is free and a simple challenge to walk every day. You will have a virtual group of team members to connect with from across the country. You will receive my health video lessons over the course of 4 weeks. I will be teaching you how to walk 17 different ways, what you should eat, what you should drink, and how to help yourself emotionally.
After completing the Basic Program, you will be invited to the second level, a 30-day Advanced Walking Challenge. You will learn how to overcome your specific health challenge, whether it is hypertension, diabetes, obesity, etc. It will be a more intense program, but you will learn even more about how to overcome your problems. Just continue to walk! At this level, you will learn to use circadian rhythm to double your energy level in 30 days.
In the third and last course of the program, I will reveal secrets that will get you in the best shape of your life. This is called the 9 Week Ultimate Walking Challenge. After completing this, you will be able to take on the biggest health challenge of your life. And together, I will teach you how to double or up to quadruple your energy in just 9 weeks.
